What a night! ARuVR’s 3rd annual XR L&D Summit

22 June 2023

“Wow it’s hot” and it wasn’t the amazing weather, but our technology that was getting attendees excited at our 3rd annual Extended Reality (XR) L&D Summit in partnership with The Learning Network hosted last week at the amazing City, University of London campus.

Words don’t really do the event justice, so here’s a video highlight reel of some of the attendees feedback.

More than 150 L&D professionals and partners joined us to hear from existing customers including: BAE Systems, Five Guys, Mintra and the City, University of London on how they are implementing our Extended Reality (XR) technology into their existing L&D work flows to streamline, improve and motivate learners across a range of industries and sectors.

Mixing in a relaxed and informal event with real-world case studies, and of course ample food and refreshments, certainly created a great atmosphere with many attendees commenting on the buzz and excitement.

Over 200 ARuVR® XR learning demos were delivered during the four hours of the Summit across many sectors including; Transport, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, Construction, Retail, Energy, Maritime and Finance to name just a few.

We would like to thank all those who attended and especially those clients, some who travelled from far and wide, who spoke so passionately about how Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Human Holographic projections can be used to recruit, upskill, reskill and retain the workforce, conveniently, cost effectively and above all without any technical knowledge.

“It was amazing to see so many people gathered in one place to discuss and network around the topic of AR and VR in L&D. Overwhelming the feedback on the night was incredibly positive across the board and it is clear that there is a ground swell of interest in a technology that is crossing from early adopters to mainstream deployment.”

Frank Furnari, CEO & Founder, ARuVR®

We’re already making plans for our next event and will be in touch soon with a save-the-date in May 2024. Meanwhile if you missed some of the announcements from the Summit you can read them here.
